Research work in which an exhaustive study of the educational and pre-university situation in the Dominican Republic is carried out, highlighting the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that ICTs, in general, and free software, in particular, have in the development of informational-technological competences in students and teachers.
Manuel Madé, has a doctorate in Logic and Philosophy of Science (2019), a master's degree in Social Studies of Science and Technology (2012), both obtained at the University of Salamanca, Spain; There, he also did an internship at the Research Results Transfer Office (OTRI). He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Education with a Mention in Letters from the Universidad Dominicana O&M (2005). He studied a Bachelor of Science in Technology at the Universidad Bíblica Latinoamericana (UBL), Costa Rica (thesis pending (2009).
