Historia y Fundamentos del SDSS: Una explicación sencilla del Sistema Dominicano de Seguridad Social

The Sistema Dominicano de Seguridad Social (SDSS) features a complex and universal structure which, despite mandates in Law 87-01, still lacks educational modules explaining rights and obligations, resulting in implementation gaps and distortions. Addressing this deficiency, the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) and the Asociación Dominicana de Administradoras de Riesgos de Salud (ADARS) are sponsoring a publication to guide affiliates on the SDSS’s fundamentals, history, and necessary reforms. This resource aims to enhance users' understanding and exercise of their rights, improve institutional relations within the system, and support informed debate on the SDSS's future in terms of coverage, quality, and efficiency.
