Ciencia y Sociedad

It is a quarterly magazine for scientific outreach and dissemination in the Dominican Republic, edited and sponsored by the Technological Institute of Santo Domingo (INTEC). It is a medium with a clear inter- and multi-transdisciplinary vocation, which collects the scientific production of INTEC, as well as that of the academic institutions of the Dominican Republic, Latin America and the Caribbean, in addition to research work on this region of the world generated in other academic spaces.

Its objectives are to disseminate research in Social Sciences and Humanities to promote debates on social and cultural problems based on the diversity of approaches and synergies between scientific disciplines. It is a medium with a multi and interdisciplinary vocation that collects the scientific production of the Dominican Republic, Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as scientific results that are generated on these regions in other global academic spaces.
