Synopsis

This work presents a collection of teaching narratives developed through the Pedagogical Accompaniment process of the Master’s Program in Gender and Equality Policies in Education at the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC), carried out between November 2024 and July 2025. The book compiles nineteen texts written by participants of the program, documenting their experiences, reflections, and pedagogical practices within educational contexts shaped by social and gender inequalities in the Dominican Republic.

Through these narratives, teachers critically reflect on their educational practices and explore how a gender perspective can contribute to transforming school dynamics toward more just, inclusive, and equitable learning environments. The work represents a contribution to transformative pedagogical thought by amplifying teachers’ voices and promoting the collective construction of educational alternatives that support the integral development of children and adolescents.
