Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Journal Ciencia y Sociedad

The journal Ciencia y Sociedad, of the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC), will celebrate its 50th anniversary as one of the leading academic publications in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean, recognized for its commitment to scientific dissemination, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary dialogue. The event will bring together key stakeholders from the national and international editorial and scientific ecosystem, highlighting the journal’s trajectory and impact on the development of knowledge in the region.

The event will take place on May 20, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Social Security Hall (OSES) at INTEC, in an in-person format with live streaming, allowing participation from the academic community both nationally and internationally.
